Variable speed control has been a specialty at Skjonberg Controls from our earliest days. We have standard and custom designs for use with chain hoists, or wire rope winches for manual or programmable operation. Variable speed manual control for chain hoists has been available for most hoists since 1990. Control packages can be provided for any international voltage.

The Manual Variable Speed Control (MVSC) consists of an AC or DC drive control chassis in either a rack mountable chassis or mounted into our winch frame. Manual running uses a variety of handsets using joystick, sliders, rotary or thumbwheel switches. The handsets are built to suit the user’s preferences.

The Programmable Variable Speed Control (PVSC) is a full position and velocity control system using servomotor and control amplifier, ac inverter or dc controls. We design and manufacture both the lifting equipment and the controls to meet your requirements.
